wierd problem with piranha

well i have a piranha r6 and im havein a weird problem with it. i know you guys are gonna say replace the hammer oring but thats not it. i air the gun up with a co2 tank. it will not recock. but if i recock it myself and push on the cocking rod when i pull the trigger it will shoot at normal velocity but wont recock.

please help me

Your bolt is sticking. Replace the bolt O rings, clean out the upper tube with a squeege and oil the bolt well.

it cant be bolt stick when the gun isnt over lubed. and im using more of an oil kind of lube on it.

First off, dont use lube in a piranha, it causes problems like your having. Use ER oil or gold cup oil.

Do everything im going to list.
1. Clean your upper and lower tube with a squeege. When removing your valve, make sure you put in the right way. If its in the wrong way right now it could be the source of your problem.
2.When your hammer is out check the o-ring. If its a loose fit or not the blue o-ring thats your problem.
3. Check your bolt o-rings, once again make sure there not worn and loose.
4. Re-OIL all the o-rings, do NOT use lube.

The guns arent that complicated, that should fix your problem.

well i think i fixed it.
no thanks to you guys tho.
now itll shoot but wont always recock. any ideas?

turn up the velocity or use the blue or white spring. clean the piss out of your gun and only use pmi oil on the parts. oil up all the orings and the valve. put a few drops directly on the cup seal too. you might have a VERY slight bend in your cocking rod or bolt as well.

well theres the guy that has always helped me with my piranhas. thanks steve.

but i was using gun sav. it will work perfectly fine in a piranha

everyone is entitled to an opinion. in my opinion, the sav is too thick. when in doubt, go with what the manufacturer recomments!

back to gun sav....when they say you can use it on any gun, thats just a selling point.

i could see you saying a lube like sleek is thick but gun sav is nice an smooth, and thin.
