Question *A-5 Milling*

I am just curious....

Is it possible to mill anything of the A-5 besides the cyclone?
And if u were going to mill the cyclone off would you weld on a Tippmann 98 right hand feed? (I am not a big cyclone fan)

You aren't a big fan of the cyclone feed and you play speedball? Ok... Either A) get rid of it... B) add some form of deflection to the front..... or C) live with it

You can mill anything, but you have less "meat" to work with on tippmanns usually

It is possible to remove the Cyclone and install, a warp or a Plain Halo etc hopper. But that takes custom work and alot of time. AS far as the A-5 itself, I agree with the above staement, there are a few parts that can be cut off, like tippmann effect players have done.

Quite easily. You can make your own bracket and bolt it in place of the Cyclone, making it vertical/right feed instead. Of course it will require much designing, trial and error, and some refinishing to get it right. But if you're committed you can do it.

Otherwise instead of milling off the Cyclone. You could just remove the bolt holding it in place and pulling it off?

ROTF... I wasn't on tippmann effect. I, quite frankly, suck... Well, maybe not suck, I'm just nowhere near pro. Not saying T.E. IS pro, but anyway...

Meph is the guy to listen too.

And if you are still looking for stuff wald, like I saw you were in the WTB thread, give me an IM or EMAIL
