Where else but to start then from the beginning. I'm from California and spent the first 15 years of my Life there and never got to play paintball. I moved to Tucson, Az when I picked up my first paintball gun in late 2003, went out on a Saturday with a friend from school. I remember having so much fun that I practically begged my mom to let me go again Sunday. 3-4 months later I'm playing in the XPSL San Jose Event with a team sponsored by the local pro shop PBHQ.
Next Season My friends Travis and Richie Start up 1upkids and we make our debut on the xpsl series. 1upkids was a great thing because it was pretty much the first all kids paintball team in Az that was playing out of state tournaments. The team was pretty much ran by the players a bunch of 14-16 year old kids. after that season I played my first NPPL event in 06 with Spyders Web in HB. HB was the sickest event ever. I made quarter Finals my first event in HB, I felt like I was on top of the world at that point.
But Reality checks in and Mex and FYT (23bps's team_ was looking for some young players with talent and speed to replace Ryan West and Augie Orozco who were recently picked up by Phoenix United. But it was sick because this is where my real paintball career would start shortly after. Also on FYT is where I got to meet all of the people that would become some of my best friends. Plus I got to play with my friends Adam Vese, Steve Derrick, Travis, and the rest of my FYT family( Mike "Mex Garza, Jon Vese, Animal Andrew, Covey Groff, Josh Duke, Ellis, Hawaiian Jon, JJ). So Off to PSP Vegas in 06. PSP Vegas was my First psp event and in all comparison to NPPL's HB the actual Event sucked. But xball is the ****. We ended up missing quarterfinals by one point which was given to the other team due to a penalty in the last minute. The Moral of the Story, is do not cheat, especially when it will effect the game negatively.
After Vegas i moved back to cali for the summer before i began going to college at Arizona State University. That summer was fun, i got to practice with my friends Johnny Garcia and Jared Sowinski who were on Legacy 2.
So after starting college it was time to find a home. FYT was looking for some players and Mex (Mike Garza) gave me another tryout, and I made the team. The FYT program began molding me into something much better then what I previously was. It was a Great time while it lasted taking 2nd in HB, 8th in Tampa, 1st in Boston where in finals we smashed down Speed in 2 games which were under 2 min. Winning that event was an eye opener for me, it made me realize that I was striving for something. I wanted to win in paintball, and compete against better players. We took a 3rd place at Kansas City. With the lead in the series the team became a little to arrogant, like we had already achieved something. We had done a lot, in comparison to teams before us. But we lost that "eye of the tiger" (rocky 3), a lot of our player lost that hunger. So with a huge choke in SD we lost the series and all we had to do was take 8th. I learned my greatest lesson here. So 2nd overall... not to bad.
So after that, I got to start playing with a team that i had always wanted to play for, Team NXe. I was also at the time getting a chance to play with Zak Smith and Adam Vese on United for PSP PHX since they needed a few more players.
The 08 season was one of the sickest seasons ever. I went from D3 to playing on a team with all of my friends, got to play with PHX United. Played a Pro Event, and had lots of fun.
This next section is for the people that I can't really thank enough for being there for me and helping me along this difficult path. A thousand times thank you.

So that is a little bit of my history, I have learned innumerable amount of life lessons playing paintball. Its a fun way to enjoy time with your friends, blow off some steam, or just have a good old fashioned time. If I could start over I would not do a single thing differently, and I will keep playing.
