New t9 not firing

hello all, new member here with a question:

Just recieved my t9cqb and followed the trouble shooting steps as to why it is not firing. here are the symtoms:
no air is leaking, infact air is being shot out of the barrel but no paintball is leaving the clip.

The manual says to tighten the velocity screw, but that didnt work, next it says to tear apart the gun and push the bolt forward as it might not have been done at time of assembly.

So im researching vids and getting myself familiar with the internals before I tear mine apart. But before I do that is there any other thing I should try first?
thanks.

no, if mine doesn't fire, it's usually because I put the spring in too early which pushed the bolt too far backwards.

Also make sure the barrel is in the right position for mag feed, not hopper feed. This sounds like the problem honestly. When you insert the barrel, the first 'position' is mag feed. keep rotating the barrel for hopper feed. Try removing the side plate where the hopper goes. if you can see INTO the barrel, it's the wrong position.

yeah that was the problem. but now after every shot, the paintball doesn't load into the chamber. I have to rotate the barrels between hopper position and clip fed. What gives?

make sure the barrel is 'locked' into the clip position, and check your detents.
