Division 5 Gfoa players look!
hey guys lets get the rule of 10.5 bps changed to 12.5 like psp.
So post wether you want 10.5 or 12.5 and state what team you will be on
for verification. If enough people are pro 12.5 then it CAN Be changed!
let the votes begin.

12.5 However, as compelling as this thread is, I doubt it will change much...

My concern is that 12.5 and 13.3 are almost undistiguishable to the ear. In the case that D5 and higher division games have to be run on the same field, it would be nice for the refs to be able to hear and tell a difference in the ROF.
In addition, since D5 is supposed to be for players new to the tourney scene, I think it is a much better way to introduce them to the format, and give a more gradual change from rec ball.

Yea.... not even a whole paintball difference..... that IMO isn't any diff....
Stick with the 10.5 deal......
Good start for D5
If you want a higher ROF then step up to play D4 and above.... def a diff breed of competition

What Kom said, If you wanna play at a higher ROF, play Rookie. If not, play 10.5 for a little and maybe bump up to rookie.

it is nice to play at a faster rof, but new guys coming in trying to play there first or even there 2nd season should stay at 10.5. when i started playing guns didnt ramp unless you had lots of money to buy boards or guns that cost out the butt. and it is cheaper for the new teams to buy paint cuz there not shooting so much. and keeping it at 10.5 for d5 is good cuz the teams that think there better will step up and play d4 so they can shoot faster and make the d4/d3 have more teams and give the newer teams better odds of winning tourney and having more fun.

I understand where you're coming from. I have been playing for about 8 years and just started to get into tournaments. I mean you still shoot the same amount with either 10.5 or 12.5 in my opinion, 12.5 is just faster. The precaution of people getting over shot is pointless because most teams are practicing with higher divisions and used to 13.3. + at 10.5 you can still get murdered.

13.3
All last year the D5 teams finished like 2 hrs before everyone else.
Because of the lower rate of fire they got their own field.
Wouldn't it be easier if not only for scheduling purposes if it was the same across the board.

12.5 GOODFELLAS! 10.5 to 13.3 is a huge jump when trying to move up, i think if u make it 12.5 then its not such a big transition to 13.3
