Simple things to check first: make sure you're using a fresh, new, non-rechargeable 9 volt battery. Make sure your dwell is set to at least 6.5 ms. If you are dryfiring, make sure that you disable the eyes first. If you are not dryfiring, make sure you are not in Demo mode.

Hi Dr, it's been 7 yrs since I was here on the forums. Im glad you are still active on the forum.

I will reconfirm and do as you said.

I have a wierd feeling it's the solenoid.

Will keep you posted.

The stock reg works pretty well, unless you're having a specific problem with it then I wouldn't bother. The CP is more of a lateral upgrade anyway.

So I just switched my solenoid from my other working A1.

Confirmed it's the noid.

Took the noid out and it seems dented , from over tightening the noid cover.

Ugh!

Yep, pretty common. Overtightening can crack or dent the body and cause the piston to seize. If you've got the time and ambition, you can try this fix.

Doesn't load in the post, but the link still seems to work. Try this: http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/7131/ironss.jpg.

It's a pretty simple drawing, as you can see. Basically you're just making a notch in the end of the bar stock to create a shaping surface.
