lookin to put on about 15lbs, muscle that is
alright guys. im 5'11 and 142lbs. im lookin to get back into lifting again after 2yrs. im known as the skinny guy about everywhere i go so im lookin to change that. i stopped cause i was getting strong but no mass at all so im what you would call a hard gainer. if anyone has a couple suggestions i would appreciate it. just keep in mind im not lookin to be freaky big and veiny just thick with some mass. i prefer a 3 day split. thanks fellas and my bad with the horrible punctuation

Cut your calories to about 1500 per day
go light weights for tons of reps
make sure you take your multi at the same time everyday
work biceps every other day
eat 1 gram of protein for every kg of body weight
be sure to do crossfit once a week
have 3 protein shakes a day

At 5' 11'' 142lbs, you may want to look into putting more than just 15lbs on.

Cut calories? To gain weight? ...the **** bro... . Take a protein shake after you work out, and try to eat a lot of protein with each meal (like 30 g or so). You want protein from meat too and not just whey powder that you use to make shakes. You actually want to do higher weights with lower reps (but change it up). An example for benching would be like 8 , 5, 3 , 1, 3, 5 going up in weight all the way to 1, then down weights until 5.

. 15 pounds is a lot of weight to gain, but visibly speaking it won't look like that much...especially spread around on somebody whose 5'11. But yeah, if you get there, you're on the right track (just don't stop because you think you'll get stocky). 5'11 and 142 is very skinny

Don't do creatine, it's bad for your liver and once you personally are off it, you'll lose the mass you get. What creatine really does in your muscles is allow you to get an extra rep or two during a lift (CTP is a dominant form of energy in lifting like benching). For those that are hardcore, that extra rep can be huge in working your muscles even further to make them get bigger. But for the beginner/average guy, so much is mental.
Work these three groups: Chest/Arms , Back/Shoulders , Legs
Then do cardio / core exercises as well

Biceps are connected to every muscle in your body. Work them, and the rest comes up. They're actually the spiritual center of your inner self. You have to work the inside before you can see gains on the outside brah.

i found a workout routine im gonna try out. its 3 days a week and all the workouts are till failure. ill prolly go get some whey protien this weekend. thanks for the suggestions
