Smart Parts Europe was bought out by MaxSports and Guntech out in Germany...

Smart Parts East(USA) is still in restructuring phase.... 98% of their workforce was laid off.... as of now I know of three people who are still active in that facility...

Im sure the after market companies will make parts. Especially since they will no longer be proprietary.

SP-1 is the best woodsball marker out there, and they will last a long time with very little maintenance.

I need a part: A power button for an SP-1.

Also, dig this: I have 3 boards, 2 markers (all SP-1). I am having air leaking issues on them. It seems to be nothing serious, but I cannot find replacement hoses for the boards. I bought some 4mm from SmartPartsParts, but that wouldn't fit on even with mild heating. Bottom line, I have 2 disassembled boards that need RMA/repair and no where to send - does ANYONE know where I can get these repaired?

I Recently bought and sp-1 and the Blackheart upgrade as well, and the store installing the Blackheart upgrade says that the new circuit board requires a different on/off button that the stock sp-1 and it was not in the kit. would you happen to have any of these on/off buttons im sorta dead in the water without it

You can use dremel to cut of little of upper part of your on/off button so it wouldn't push the diod above your button on the board. Just put on/off to your board and look how much you need to cut.

Send me your address to my email at prettylou@dareservoirdogs.com and I'll send you a power button. As far as the hoses, the information I was give is that the hoses werent meant to be taken off and replaced. At this point, there is no place to send them for repair with Smart Parts temporary closure.

I will look and see if I have an extra one of those, If not, exactly as stated above, you can drummel out a notch on the top half of the stock button. Its just to make sure the button doesnt hit the LED on the board.

I went a step further when I noticed that the power button still was pushing on the LED. Very carefully injected the slightest bit of hot glue right behind each side of the LED. Now the LED is very secure and cannot be bent backwards and shorted out. (A little insurance in case BH boards never become available again)
