1999 SFL Cocker question

Hey everyone,

I've recently purchased a blue-black fade 1999 Shocktech SFL Autococker body but it's missing the requisite bolt. I'm having a lot of trouble finding a proper bolt as I get different answers. Or, perhaps, they are the same answer as I am somewhat unfamiliar with autocockers.

I've heard evo-length and p-block. I've called Shocktech but they haven't been much help (they don't answer my question as to what *other* bolt I can use, just try and sell me an old superfly that they don't seem to have in stock).

While this isn't my actual cocker, this is the same body (and color scheme):

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

evo and p-block refer to the same thing, and thats what you need. compulsive has evo length slik bolts in stock and alamo city pb has bolts too, they refer to them as "p-block"

For future reference, 'P-Block' comes from when WGP used a back block that was in the shape of a P on the 98-99 STO's (and a few other 'limited' bodies). Being shorter then the back blocks of the time, and having the bolt pin 'inside' the body it required a shorter bolt.
This same length bolt was then used on the Evolution 'cockers, hence 'Evo' length.
If you notice on the SFL the back block is also P shaped and the top tube is shorter then the bottom.

No no, all I have is the body, front block, and back block. Bought it off ebay a few months ago. Turning it into a pump right now but I've got another cocker I am currently working on

not exactly true. STO and Evo are differnt lengths. they are close, but not EXACTLY the same. Spaceman and I did some measuring a while back to confirm and we got a differnce from bolt face to center of pin seems to be about 1/8th differnce with the STO a little longer. STO and and EVO always used to be advertised seperatly so I am not suprised. you can make em work, but its not an ideal fit.

Thanks guys. I contacted Shocktech and they believe they have a bolt for it so that should solve any problems hopefully.

FYI, evo used the p-block back in the mid ninties, well before the sto. As far as length, I never realized that but just checked my guns and Wolf13 is dead on. The sto bolt should be a little longer. My FreeFlow is Evo length. The Shocktech sto bolt is also abit longer then the stock sto bolt. Their rams had a slightly longer throw and I would bet the longer face cuts down on blowback and alows closer timing.
