I had recock problems with the new bumper... I played a few games with it and basically I was using a pump gun since I had to recock it after every few shots (I still whacked 4 folks in that game
). I thought I had it tuned right... but that was truly difficult to do. If I put the pressure up too high I'd get chopping, and too low and it wouldn't recock... There was a very very fine line where it seemed to work alright but my recock pressure was a lot higher than normal. As such I went back to the regular bumper for the rest of the day.
It seems that since it was thicker and firmer, it wouldn't bend the requisite amount to allow the gun to recock. As such I've cut the new bumper down about 1/3 and now it works great. It can take a punishment and won't get chewed up. It has about the same amount of kick, if there is any increase its negligible. Good job yall.
