Right but he was still a benchwarmer on both of those teams. Saban must have worked some of his magic because the reason he transferred out was the depth chart. And thats saying a lot if he couldn't pass Jai Eugene.

I've heard it had more to do with tensions between him and the coaching staff. I don't know if there is any truth at all to it, but I've heard for a long time that LSU is more biased towards Louisiana players and Phelon just never really fit in.

I actually like the look of Adidas' ND stuff but I use Nike personally. Everything is well made, especially their basketball shoes. My huarache 2k8's are soooooo much more comfortable/lighter/better than any Adidas basketball shoes.

Thats not true at all. The only reason miles allowed him to make a lateral move was that fact that phelon was doing everything right he was just buried in the depth chart and wanted to play sooner.

I'll take your word for it, I've just always heard that LSU favors instate guys. I don't know, Phelon was very highly billed coming out of high school and supposedly he's impressed the coaches at Alabama, so he should see a lot of PT over the next two years. Maybe he just wasn't right for LSU or something, we'll see.

So, LSU's AD has issued a vote of confidence in Miles.

I think Miles has done a great job at LSU and the administration would be wise to keep him as long as he wants to be there.

Poor, poor Shula. I will say that he was a good quarterbacks coach, though ...

What's LSU's D-line going to look like in 2010? As a matter of fact, who's going to have the best DL in the league? Ole Miss returns Lockett and Powe - assuming they don't declare - so that gives them two great players, at least. Alabama has the best defensive lineman in the conference in Marcell Dareus, but has to replace the entire starting front three. LSU's got some great talent with guys like Davenport waiting in the wings, but they didn't have great DL play this year and they lose a good deal of experience. UF loses Dunlap and Cunningham off their front four, but they have a lot of talent and they're well-coached.

lulz, that is far from the truth. Theres a reason certain instate players decided to go to other colleges.
