Hey guys, just to throw this out there:

1. The German army during WWII was not called "The Third Reich Army"...it was officially known as the Wehrmacht. The "Third Reich" was the political and social utopia the Nazi party was hoping to install during and after the conflict of WWII. The Third Reich (Drittes Reich) denotes the Nazi State as the historical successor to the mediæval Holy Roman Empire (962–1806) and to the modern German Empire (1871–1918).

2. The symbol you decided to adopt for your team is actually one the main symbols for the Nazi government (i.e. political party) and NOT the Wehrmacht. The only change you made was by removing the swastika and adding a "3rd". This, of course, doesn't do a lot considering the base symbol wasn't military in it's usage.

Let me say I'm not trying to rain on your parade...I am actually a huge WWII buff and love scenario games (I'd play Germany too). But, if you're planning on using a name that inflammatory, you should definitely get your facts right. On a side note though, if you feel the need to actually explain why you're using a name it's probably a bad idea. Unless of course you plan on handing everyone you meet a one page essay on why your team name isn't supposed to be offensive. Best of luck.

hey before you go about flaming our team name on historical accuracy. Ask yourself. How many people have actually said this stuff to us, then ask yourself how much we really care about your historical accuracy. Most jews dont play paintball so im in luck. We arent trying to impress anyone, we thought it was a cool team name. WW2 and Nazi Fascism ended 65 years ago. Me, my team, and the rest of america got over the entire war. We are trying to have fun. Ever heard of Oklahoma D-Day? Want to rant on the world's largest scenario game because it doesnt accurately depict Operation Overlord or the actual D-Day landings themselves? How about the germans 2 year win streak because of strategic placement of the Axis side's troops made by people in our team? Or do you want to rant on our team because no one in it is a neo-nazi?
