mine shoots fine in the cold. if balls are rolling out of the breach, could it be something with the detents? I mean the stock ones should be fine but if the ANS version comes with something different, they might be getting jammed up in the cold or something.

I think it is definately more likely to be a problem with the dwell, reg, or battery.

have you tried shooting paint/reballs inside? It could look like it is shooting fine inside but, in all actuality it really isn't.

This would lead me to believe (if it wasn't shooting correctly inside) that the HPR needs to be turned up, the dwell bumped up a few points and the battery should be changed.

haha, today at the field, his ion was shot like 3 balls, then the rest just fell out the barrel. he was about to sell his ion with a full freak kit to this old guy, for a 100 bucks. what an idiot, the kit itself costed him like 85$.

Well, I'm not about to go through every post, but I did scan them and didn't see the following...

I'm assuming when you say just roll out of the breech, that when he pulls the trigger the ion makes a simple puff (almost if the dwell was set too low) and the ball exits will basically 0 velocity.

If that's the case strip the marker and make sure the marker isn't over lubed. When the marker gets too cold, having too much lube on your marker can cause this since the lube isn't as viscous as it normally is. Put a very thin layer of lube on the necessary orings and shoot. Increasing the dwell may help as well.

Would be a bad idea to clean off the seal on the armature of the solenoid as well. Make sure there is no lube on it.

he sold the gun already because it gave him "too many" problems.

First problem: low battery
Second problem: low dwell settings

they were all simple problems, he just didnt know how to work his own gun.

or u maybe want to check idk maybe ions suck under 30' weather. does it even get one shot of or is it like with in 1 sec of steping outside the gun stops working?

1- good battery (just know)
2 - dwell up (as much as 15)
3 - set pressure (your gauge may be reading wrong & I'm assuming you're shooting just air inside)
4 - post a vid if these fail
