!!!!OT:A Tool Deal Index!!!!
Hey guys, Im hoping this gets stickied, because its awesome when it works.
Post any current (tools only) deals in here so we can all help each other out.
Keep this ****house clean boys, no arguing, no posting how ****ty a tool it is.
Remember that these tools are ranging from Professional to newb stuff.
Here are a couple deals I have found lately:
Kobalt "vice grips" 4 pc for $5
I believe they are out of stock online, but if you print it out and take it into the store they will likely price match it (they did for me)
http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...esc&lpage=none
Sears "25 days" sale, its a one deal a day and they have had some pretty good prices so far.
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/dap_10153...ckout=&langId=
Post up the deals!

Not really a tool, but Sears.com has a lighter plug heated window scraper for $9.99 which is $20.00 off the original price.

If I'm going to buy a tool, I'd like to know how ****ty or un-****ty it is.

if your in the market for gear wrenches dont buy the kobalt ones at lowes. They carry the actual "gear wrench" brand buy those. I had a set of the flex head ones in the kobalt brand, wanted to use it to change my oil, the ratchet fell out with barely any pressure on the nut.

Craftsman has an open head ratcheting wrench set that just came out for 24.99.
It's a slim profile wrench too.

When I was there even with half off was ungodly expensive. I just cheaped out and got lucky, best tool set I ever got was from a tech who was retiring after his dealership shut down, he had about 3 boxes FILLED with everything from ratchets to feeler gauges. I got everything I could ever want for free. I'd recommend to everyone to go to your local shops and dealerships if they are going out of business and see if they throw out any tools.
