Spring '10
So it may be a little early, being break is just starting, and you probably don't want to be thinking about school. But I have decided to worry about it now and prepare before it happens.
So, here is what my schedule looks like for Spring semester.
Lifetime Fitness -Online (I have no clue how that works either)
Creative Writing -Online, Writing Intensive
Philosophy of Religion
Calculus 1
Principles of Chem 1
Total of 18 credits.
Book cost is about 540 from the bookstore if I go all used.
From amazon I can buy 6/10 for 182, most of that being chem. Then I have to buy 2 from the bookstore for like 10 bucks tops, and then have to find my math book somewhere decently priced, and my lifetime fitness one (or buy it from school).

introductory gas dynamics
engineering materials
dynamics of mechanical systems
engineering seminar (sit around and listen to people talk about engineering, prof who runs it is a bit of a dick, so probably no ditching)
linear algebra
microeconomics
kinda dreading books. got off really easy this past semester, so this one is probably going to suck. had the prof for the gas dynamics class for thermo and we had to buy basically a brand new book (still found a solutions manual, though ), so that might happen again. then again, he's arguably the best prof at the university, so i can deal.

Psych, Sociology, Lab classes, some business class, I think it's computer science or something. Taking an easy semester to get a high average to transfer for football.
