Need help with vice.

Hello all, for the past couple of weekends I've shot my vice I've been having a fairly serious chopping problem with it. Once I get it above I'd say about 8 bps than sometimes but not all the time it will chop about every 5'th ball or so. And every now and than it will just turn into a complete blender. I have done nothing with the board settings and left it at stock, the only thing I have done to the gun is put the 4 eye system in it. I have tried multiple different types of paint through it with the same problem, I have than also tried this paint through my storm timmy and have not had the same problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

What loader are you using?

You may want to try a higher BIP setting.

Check the batteries in your loader.

Have you tried going back to the 2C system to see if the chopping goes away?

Also see if your pillow is still there. Mine blew out and I was choipping all day long.
Also check your LP. To high of pressure could cause it.

ok, first thing replace the battery with a fresh high quality batter, then remove the eye covers and clean the eyes and the eye holes, before you do anything else get a lpr tester and test the lpr pressure, i believe it should run at about 70-80 psi but you can check the bob long website, make sure that the pilow is still present on the front of your bolt, replace your detents and put your loader back to factory settings, use high quality paintballs and the problem shuld be solved

Check your detents and detent springs. Make sure there still in good shape.

A lack of pillow in the bolt will not cause chops.

I have the stock Protege bolt, which does not have a pillow, and a Pillow bolt sans the pillow and niether chop, due to lack of pillow. I only ever have problems with barrel breaks and the RARE chop, with very brittle paint.

Battery is good, pillow is there, the lpr is set at 70, the detent and detent springs are good, the loader is a rotor so it just has an on/off switch, gonna put the 2 eyes system back in and see if it still does it.

Make sure the batteries in your hopper are good as well. Just because it turns on, doesn't mean they're good. Especially if you're using cheap batteries(hopper or gun). They won't keep up to the current flow that paintball products demand.
