I got into online gaming back when MoHAA was out as well.
I too agree that to an extent MW2 let me down. I have yet to beat the single player because every time I start to play it, it pisses me off with how ridiculously over the top it is. Multiplayer is fun, but sometimes I want to break my controller with how annoying it can get.
Im anxious for this one.

COD would not even exist if it were not for MOH. For goodness sakes Before COD even came out the people who are responsible for the COD Series (Infinity Ward) Were apart of the MOH team and helped create MOH Allied Assult.
So to all the **** tards that are saying "COD ripoff" Get your **** straight because COD would not exist if it were not for MOH..
how does Medal of Honor existing first somehow prove it's not a ripoff? This game specifically could be considered a ripoff of CoD. What came first? A modern CoD or a modern MoH? Think about it...
anyway, i don't think it's a CoD ripoff. basically, for me, MoH was ok, but then CoD came around and took the WWII crown, and then went to modern. now i think MoH might take the crown for modern infantry combat from CoD. DICE is doing the multiplayer, and i like BFBC so it should be good.

Cod4 took place in alot of different places including the Middle East, Azerbaijan, Russia, and Prypiat, Ukraine.
MOH seems it will only take place in Afghanistan. It doesnt matter what came first.
Does it matter what came first? I remember playing MoH: Frontline and storming the beaches of Normandy. I was in awe. It was one of my favorite video game experiences. It shouldn't matter what came first because if they are doing what game producers should do they are making a game with stuff that MW2 doesn't. I know you play as a "sledge hammer" which is basic infantry or rangers. Then you play as the "scapel" which are the tier one operators. These tier one operators are the best of the Delta force, SEALs, Green Berets, and Pararescue. They actually had 3 tier one agents to assist in making the game as authentic as possible. Seems like a really badass game.

That Normandy level was one of the most memorable moments in gaming I've had.

COD wouldn't even exist if it weren't for them ripping off of MOH. Not to mention, MOH was way better then COD and always has been.

That game was probably the first ever console FPS I had ever played. It was ****ing awesome.

And neither were the first modern game so what does it matter? Battlefield made the WW2 -> modern day transition before either so i guess they are both ripoffs according to that kind of reasoning.

God, I love MoH. I used to play that **** on my PSP for hours when I was on vacations, stealing internet from the hotel I was in for the night. Psyched to see this.
I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant... It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.

Its cool to hate things that are popular now a days right?
Because the month before and the month after the release of CODMW2 everyone was ****ting bricks over how cool it was, why all the hate?
I see thread after thread with MW2 sucks blahh blah
