Completed Evil M

Picked up the Tarantula milled body and other necessary parts a few weeks ago minus the frame and board. I used an Etek Star frame and made a 1/4" tray to clear the solenoid.

I dropped off the parts to be anodized by Caustic Customs and everything was done in a few days.

Couple of pictures of when I was working on it.

Final Completed pictures.

Only thing I say is, get rid of the EGO emblem on the frame. It stands out like a sore thumb.

yes I agree with you, though every kid out there will go hey is that the new ego this year.

Hit up Roberts on here or MCB, he makes custom jewels. Some saying AKA or evlm would look cool. Or some evil eyes/ devil face with a M next to it.

I thought about a custom jewel of some sort just didnt have any idea of where to go to have it made. Ill look for this Roberts person.

I think Im also going to have some aluminum grip panels made and have them anodized in the same finish.

and hit up Luke, he does panels, might have some that already fit an ego frame or maybe do little mod to the ones he has. he did some custom panels for me and they came out great.

why did you go with black for the tray/frame? would have looked nice with everything anno'd the same way. And is the ehm worth scouring for parts n stuff?

The main reason I anodized the frame was because I had some welding done to it. I was worried the anodizing wouldn't take the same so I powdercoated it black. As far as searching for parts I lucked out and purchased most of the parts from another member.

Sweet gun! Just got an Evil Ehm project myself and I was wondering what kind of valve you used? I know you can buy an RT Valve system from Destructive Customs but it's rather pricey. Will an 11/16 Tornado valve work or a similar one like from a Trilogy?

You have good mix of black that it goes well together and I like the fact that you did not go with the plain red, very well done.

The evil ehm were going to be the next stage for the viking, but it was shut down before production. Few guys gutted their vikings for the parts. Tornado valve are for cockers won't match up on this.

Came out great will add that fishing touch to a great project. I have to hit Roberts up for some jewels myself when mine is done and maybe some grips too.

You are going to love that new toy, so much fun and light as hell. Get lots of looks and questions when I bring mine out.

As comfy as the Eclipse grips are they look out of place. I made some aluminum grips today using a portaband clamped in a vice LOL for the rough cuts and a dremel and sander to finish them off. Im going to have these matched to the body.

Picked up my grips on the way to work this afternoon. Forgot my screws at home though so they are just laying on the frame.

Also thanks to robertsr on MCB for making my AKA jewels to replace the EGO jewels in the frame.
