I actually typed that but for some reason my phone changed it. Good catch, though. Apparently, my inner-Alabaman came out, if only for a moment.

Which makes sense...

Because, A&M is the only team out of that bunch who can really do both, rush and pass at will w/ two backs, similar to 'BAMA.

Not trying to change your mind, just simply stating facts. Personally I won't too badly if Alabama beats Texas, because let's face it, talent wise Alabama has more talent.

But often times the more talented team doesn't always win.

Quite frankly I'm just sick of reading the same delusional and disrespectful posts for Bama fanboys thinking the game is going to be a raping.... You only serve as a distraction and detriment to this thread. And of course, if Texas should at least 50% or more of you will in all inevitability just disappear and refuse to eat your words.

So that being said, there's really no point in arguing this anymore, I'm just going sit back and wait for January 6th, and hope for a great game. I suggest you all do the same.

Texas definitely has more talent than Alabama. Saban has only had two recruiting classes.

Ingram won the heisman. So Texas wins the NC by default.

Top to bottom they do. Most of Alabama's talent lies with the underclassmen, Texas is just stacked all over. Now, you could certainly argue that UA has more NFL talent - which is true - but Tejas has more depth.

I just lul at all the Texas fans who try and act like they can't beat Big Bad 'Bama and all their 'croots, when they have equal or superior talent. The top three teams in college football in terms of talent: Southern Cal, Florida, and Texas.

Texas and Alabama recruiting classes:

Texas
2006: 5
2007: 5
2008: 14 (Didn't sign a full class)
2009: 5

Alabama
2006: 11
2007: 10
2008: 1
2009: 1

Again, the bulk of Alabama's talent lies with the underclassmen. Texas has better upperclassmen.

It's true that Alabama HS players are much more bad *** than their Texas counterparts, but the "talent advantage" that Alabama has is either marginal or non-existant.

you know you can recruit someone that is supposed to be good, but then isn't good, right?

You keep going off recruiting rankings, but that's like saying the raiders have the most talented team in the NFL because they pick high in the draft every year. What some kid did in high school is irrelevant. That's like that LSU kid trying to act like Jordan Jefferson is a great QB because someone decided he was a 5 star recruit. Guy ****ing blows. How good are they at the college level? And Alabama has more talent all over the field.

I'm well aware of that.

I'm just saying that those talking up UA's "talent advantage" don't know what they are talking about. Alabama has better NFL talent, including a slew of first rounders on defense, but from top to bottom, I'd give a slight edge to Texas.
