I know it's the guts that matter, and I'm not a fan of big, tacky looking cases, either but you would think someone would build a WC case that has a little style to it. Especially for the prices they run, and the fact that a lot of people who WCing seem to be into making it look good as much as they are the performance.
It's tough to make a big, flashy, and yet not ridiculous looking case. Big, understated cases are easier to make and easier to like. The ultimate WC cases, though, are made by Case Labs. Not everyone likes these because they are so subtle, but you can't have everything.
You have to remember that nobody is looking at your PC IRL or cares what it looks like outside of the pictures you may post on the internet. Because style is so subjective and Case Labs cases are so widely respected and so understated, though, you're almost better off getting the subtle case if you care about what people on the internet think about your PC.
