I absolutely agree. That's part of the reason I transferred schools. But at the same time, I'm investing this time for a large portion of my grade. It isn't something I do every week or every month, just once a semester.

It's a week and a half I am sacrificing for 35-50% of my grade. I'd say that's worth it.

You would get 0's on finals if you didn't study? Damn, what have you been doing all year?

What? No. I do all my homework, take notes and pay attention and have decently on my midterms, but I have a specific method of studying. I don't mind the time...

Go to a decent school before you talk about college life please.
Wrong, considering my Organic Chemistry class at a community college is at least at the level of UC Davis, if not Berkeley.
You either never went to a community college, went to a ****ty one, or were one of those people that just did GE and not major prep classes.

i put my exams in a priority list and start with the highest and go down. i'll be studing for my strengths and materials course for about a hour and my PLET for about 2 hours. the other two im not worried about. hell i may show up drunk to my astro final.
i don't understand why kids cram usually the last week of classes are extremly easy and just review for the final. just study during class and you won't have to cram in so much.

i took a history class at a community college and took one here at penn state and the one at the community college was a joke. our first exam was open book and my mouth droped. i had to ask him again after class to make sure he knew what he said. needless to say i got a "A"

I've never studied for anything in my life. Got a 94 on my IT final today, didn't study a thing.

Cramming works if you have stuff that you're able to memorize.

If you have things that you'll need to critically think through, cramming won't work. I don't do it (accounting).

This past semester I had 6 finals for my 17 credit hours. Since I had an exam a day I only studied to night before on all of them to keep my mind clear of the other exam material. It worked out alright.
