Based on the post that PEV just put on the other thread the answer is yes. No details in that post but they are planning another series in 2010.

I got a team playing in EPL and CFOA...didn't know about PTS til looking at this site. Interested in info on VA tournaments 3-man and 5-man...looking at other threads on here though, it doesn't seem to be ran too well. PM me with any info please

It's not a question of how the series was ran...the 2009 PTS series was ran just fine by Tracy, Marty, and the N10cd crew...top notch to tell you the truth.

All the complaints are stemming from the cancellation of the series just shy of the last two events and no series prizes having been awarded. PEV's is blaming N10cd for skating on him and the series. But knowing Tracy and Marty personnel from this years competition...I don't believe it was as simple as that.

The PTS has always had series prizes, and that's why the top tired teams kept coming out each month...that is to compete and to rank for series prizes. I know that it has left a sour taste in our teams mouth. The expectations of series prizes were there, and it's just a real let down to come out of the year with a podium position in your division and not be able to finish the series or take home a series prize. I would stick with the EPL and CFOA. Good competition in both of those series and good prizes as well.

You know something, if N10CD ran the tournaments and Tracy Kept the scores, then I wonder if that information was handed over to PEVs.....That's the only thing that I can think of that's holding up the series prizes.

I don't believe that is the issue. I doubt that Tracy is holding the score sheets hostage. The scores were posted here on the nation after almost every event anyways.

And I think the question of '10 series should be more along the lines of what will the series prizes should be a larger concern. I really don't see how they are not making money ... There is no overhead as I see it -- not actually paying the team who hosts much if any money and if they were doing it for sponsorship reasons pev was still making money on every case they sold the team ($9) as I have been told.

Sincer question though --- how does pev lose money in this instance?

I didnt bother playing this year cus the prizes were not as good and because we never got our prizes from when we won a few years ago. Pevs has the best field in the area but i wish the tourney prizes were better

Guy, more than likely no, there will not be a five man series without marty and tracy running things. The only reason that there was even a five man series this past year was simply because marty and tracy decided to resurrect a long forgoten part of the PTS. without sumone to constantly stay on top of things and be willing to maintain the money drain tht was five man. there wont be one. srry to all those five man teams looking for a local series to play in. But, skyline has and maintains many regular five man tournaments if ne of u are intrested.

You guys do know that Will, the coach for Justice Kids, is suppose to be running the 2010 PTS series.... and capital punishment will be the ref's. So PTS may be interesting this year but I am afraid to invest into the PTS and not have a guaranteed return, at the end of the year.

They can barely get enough teams for a 3 man division, I doubt they'd attempt 7 man.
