Explicit Workout Log

Hey everyone. After some long workouts at the gym and some grueling drills, I thought it might be a good idea to have a way to keep track of everything we have been doing and stay motivated. So one day I was looking at an XSV workout thread and noticed they have already been doing just that, I figure this will be a great way for us to stay on top of workouts and keep each other motivated. (thanks XSV )

So I will be posting my daily workouts on here, or even lack there of (give me hell if I'm slacking). I encourage everyone to do the same, and post any new workouts that they may be doing and how the results are coming along.

And as always, everyone please feel free to put in your two cents.

Ill start this thing off:
I feel like I got of easy but I spent the last two days in Tahoe. I couldn't resist the tasty pow! Hell of a leg workout though. But Ill be back to normal workouts tomorrow.

I look forward to reading everyones posts.

i guess i'll start
yesterday:
light boxing practice:
6 rounds of alternating jumprope and shadow boxing
30 mins of footwork drills, mostly calves lots of jumping
4 or 5 rounds of sparring
after boxing i lifted legs i don't remember exactly how many sets but it was 7+ of leg press and extensions


not sure if i'll make it to the gym today(have a midterm and a project tomorrow) but i'll post up if i do

alright. well... last night...
i did 150 pushups and 100 crunches before bed... i havnt been back to my routine.
i am getting down with a fever... so im tryin to rest up.
so im strong this weekend.
i will post my daily routine, once im up and doing it again!

I go to the gym mon-thursday run 30 min about 3 1/2 miles. then hit the weight about 45 min then core work 15 min. it is hard especially after a full day of work. I also like the stair machine ,its good for the butt. Fridays are fun I get to go straight home and hang out with my wife, and get ready for practice sat and sun then start over on monday

Tuesday Feb 10th. Started with my situp routine that consists of basically your normal crunches, leg raises, side to side crunches, bicycle crunches.
Warmed up on the treadmill by walking for 8 minutes.
I've started a kind of circuit training with lifting, jogging, and running.
I start with an excercise on a home gym in my garage. 1 set of 15 reps light weight for strength and endurance. Go straight to my treadmill and jog for at 5mph for 1 minute. Then run at 10mph for 1 minute. I go through this routine until I hit 3 miles on the treadmill. Mind you no rest in between this cycle until its over. When it is I take a 5-10 break. Did a set of jump ups on a step that is about knee height. 30 seconds on each leg. Finished it off with a good 10 minutes of stretching. Topped it of with hot shower. Now my lady wants some of my time too.

OK, today I did mostly low impact cardio. 15 min on stair machine then straight to treadmill running for 25 min speed 7 then finished up on the bike for 10 min alternating between 8-15 resistance. after cardio i did a crap load of crunches and streched. Then i went home and put together a new computer desk which was a workout in itself GOOD NITE!

Ok guys so I had every intention to workout today, but got interupted by calls at work. I did manage to get my run in though. Start with a 10 min warm up at 5.5 mph, then some streching. Then back on for a 5 miles at 6.5 mph. Finished up with a 5 min cool down and another round of streching. No work tomorrow, so no interuptions.

today(tuesday)
warm up jog
did 5 sets of uperbody:
bench 155 lbs only made it to 7reps on the fourth set and 6 on the fifth
tri's use a machine set on 7
one arm curls 40 lbs
row machine on 11
upright row 75 lbs
I usually do pulldowns and shoulder press too but my shoulder has been bothering me so I've been skipping them
then I did a bunch of abs and a cool down jog

I think I'm done with midterms after tomorrow so I can start working our hard again

Guys remember 1 hour before each practice we will do our mini 1 hour session replication of hell week before each practice.
