Are the V3 regs ok to operate my gun at 160-190 psi or do I need a LP kit? I only see the LP kits for the V2 regs.

I am really curious about how the tank reg extenders work. I am wondering if these defeat the on off feature of the Asa.

Would you just screw extender into Asa an then tank into extender? Or can you leave the extender on the tank?

Basically how is the air from the tank engaged?

Help!!!!!!!!

the extender will screw onto the tank, and the extender will open the pin valve on the tank when the on/off switch is turned to on, same way a regular tank does, and the extender has a pin valve like a regular tank on it that the pin ni the ASA would depress thus allowing air to flow out.
I'm not a CP tech, but i'd assume thats how a extender works, i dont see any other way it would work.
the on off would still work because an onoff is in the ASA, using a reg extender wouldn't make an on off not work.
if i understand how onoffs and what oen of these reg extenders looks liek, that is.

Makes sense. I assumed that there was a pin in the extender to engage the tank. Just was not sure if it would always be engaged.

I just bought a used tank from the bst section here and it just arrived. The added mentioned it needs to be rehydroed and might need a new reg cuz this one is really old which it does and I am fnie with that. The one question I have is it came with a small chip in it and that WASN'T mentioned in the add. Will this tank still pass if i send it in to get rehydroed?

I didn't get any answers either. I guess they decided to ignore this thread.

As long as it is just the clear outer shell and not into the carbon fiber wrap you will be fine. Fill it with clear nail polish.

Take a old leather belt, cut two strips about 8 inches long. Wrap one on the top half and one on the bottom half. Using vice grips clamp down on the leather straps and twist. Works every time. The leather straps are to protect against scaring the reg. hope that helps.

I had a tuney this weekend and my reg started leaking air through blead hole near fill nipple/fill port. I tryed replacing oring on the piston and spring stack floor outer oring but it still leaks. Any info on what's going on and how to fix that?

Thanks
