Virtue OLED Eye wire socket too small for DM7 eye wire

So I just got an OLED for my DM7. Everything got installed fine and it shoots, but the eye wire on the DM7 is too big to fit into the OLED board socket. On the stock board the eye socket was just three prongs stick out of the board, on the OLED those three prongs are surrounded by a plastic casing and the DM7 eye wire is too big to fit into that casing. The board obviously throws up eye malfunctions every time I shoot. Any ideas?

Any help would be most appreciated!

Thanks!

Never mind, I fixed it. Turns out the stock DM7 eye wire has a small white plastic piece on the tip. Don't know why it's there but it prevents the wire from fitting into the eye socket on Virtue OLED board. I just took a small screwdriver and pushed the small plastic piece off. Then the wire fit.
