The contest from DARPA
The challenge is to be the first to submit the locations of 10 moored, 8-foot, red, weather balloons at 10 fixed locations in the continental United States. The balloons will be in readily accessible locations and visible from nearby roads.

so you have to fly all over the us to win 40,000?

They sell 8 foot weather balloons at the grocery store? ****, the things I could do with 100 of those...
Also, I think if the reward were to be split among people who posted in the thread, or people that spotted the balloons, it would probably work out nicely. |
