I would imagine that it still has the eye capability on the Halo version.

They are two different boards because of the connectors and the fact that Magna's do not have eyes. However all the other settings and RF capability is the same. They both use a accelerometer as well.

is there any other benefit for the rotor board other than the rf capability?

Like auto reverse? or any other fun new settings?

How does this work? Does the RF kit include the transmitter for the gun and receiver for the hopper or is it just a receiver? Seems pretty expensive.

Yes the kit includes the transmitter and the receiver. It also comes with connectors for Intimidator's, 2 pin solenoid guns (DM/Ego) and Virtue OLED boards that do not have solenoid connectors (shocker, ion, marq, etc).

The Magna version has the pins bent at a 90 degree angle then, does it have pins for eyes or does it have sound?

Looks like I might have to pick one up to compare to the other boards I own.

HMMM.... I havent noticed 1 single flaw with my rotor's current board to justify upgrading. However I am an idiot for technology improvements... I'll let one of my buddys try this one out first.

That is because your current Rotor does not have a board. It is basically 2 switches and a motor with a battery harness.

  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
  2. Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
