I don't see why they'd bother to sue someone for making parts for a marker they no longer make [or support?]..

As I've said earlier, I'd definiely buy one!

I'd take at least one. It would simply be taking the place of the gold kit already present in the marker.

correct me if im wrong, but the specific portion of the patent that restricted the design was the bolt tail. the x-93, x-94 and x-95 bolts got by this by redesigning the tail with o-rings integrated into the sleeve rather than the tail. the cad images posted so far of this new bolt have the original style bolt tail rather than the x-93 style and so would fall under the dye patent.

of course i havent actually read the patent info so i might be off. or maybe dye wont care. or maybe evolve will be paying dye for the rights.

if this does happen i would certainly be interested though

PeeGee, couple quick questions. One, can you Pm me sometime with the space between the outside o-rings on the dump chamber, I want to see if it will fit where my x-93 currently sits without giving me grief.

And... what do you think about a tooless back cap. I've been dieing for someone to make one for the last seven years. Could be simple, something like what you see on Geo's or maybe like a shortened version of the hybrid shocker guides. Not trying to have you change anything mid design but its something I haven't seen anyone do and if your still in the design process I'd be willing to pay a little more for this feature.

That would be really cool to have...maybe have an included back plate that is modified so you dont have to take it off all the way to get the bolt out. Its sometimes a pain to have to remove the back plate and take the breech off and then push the bolt out with a squeege or something and then put it all back together again

unless the bolt parts thread together you would still need to push the bolt out from the front.

and having a toolless removal and back plate would cost more, it wouldnt match the gun, and realistically nobody is going to take their bolt out during a game, using 1 hex key isnt that much of an inconvenience.
