It's so pitiful its the #30 offense in the nation? Alabama has struggled in the redzone, but offensively, UA is not a bad team by any means and just put up over 450 yards on a top fifteen LSU defense.

Also, consider the fact that Alabama has played five defenses ranked in the top-twenty five.

They're #30 partially due to putting up tons of points on two **** teams.

Yardage doesn't mean anything if you can't score in the red zone. Points win games.

Everyone plays cupcakes. The fact of the matter is that when you play five defenses currently ranked in the top twenty-five, a #30 ranking is very respectable.

TD!!!! South Carolina....

See, told you it was going to be a good game. 17-14 Florida.

I'm rooting for Florida. But I'd like for it to be a VERY good game.

I'm only seeing three - Miss, LSU, VT.

I'm aware that everyone plays cupcakes, and that's irrelevant. We're discussing overall worth, not statistical ranking.

Tennessee and South Carolina are both in the top twenty.

I didn't check, but I guess you're looking at total defense now.

Funny, since you told the LSU guys that scoring defense (which I looked at) is the one that matters

Actually, you're thinking of prostock. I'm the guy that said that total defense is what matters.

Avatar bet, prostock?
Total defense is what matters. Scoring defense is useful but total defense - as I said - is comprehensive.

So you think UA is a top 30 offense?

Yes. Alabama's offense is ranked in the top thirty despite playing five defenses ranked in the top twenty-five. Again, to have a ranking that high despite playing the kind of competition Alabama has is impressive.

Kind of a subjective question. Top 30 based on what? Scoring? Yards? Overall? Scholastic Excellence? Good looking Girlfriends?

Yeah, that's pretty crazy.

Anyone notice that Cincy plays the theme from "Halloween" on third downs? That's probably the coolest third down song that I've heard.
