This past weekend, there was a two day WDP tech class in Huntington Beach, California. Paintball stores sent their tech to complete the course and to become a WDP Service Center. Everything was well presented and the WDP staff really knew how to put on a show. This whole event was top notch, First Class
, and well worth all that moola
we spent there!
After flying in on Friday night, we paid $450 to stay at the Hilton "Waterfront Beach Resort". The first day was a tough, tough course with way too much information.... To give you an idea of how much we learned, I wrote an average of 40 pages worth of notes, per day! Each day, the classes started at 8a.m. and ran all the way pass 4p.m. It was hard to fall asleep during the lectures because their heavy English accents made you have to pay extra attention to their every word, lest you miss some key info. I've even started to use "Alou-Mini-Um!!!"
WDP's resident genius, a living legend in his own right: Mr. John Rice. The man and his Angel machinegun.
At the tech session, John Rice conducted the entire class by himself. I noticed that people around me couldn't stop talking about how John Rice is such a genius. Well, John Rice is
the inventor of the Angel, and that alone says it all. I'd go into detail, but I'll likely exceed the text limit per post, lol. Well, the bottomline is that John Rice is a very highly regarded individual who has singlehandedly changed the course of paintball history and helped further advance paintball technology. The Angel's design is so timeless that even the first Angel LED can be used as competitively today's tournament as any other current model paintball gun (wasn't Marculs Neilson the one who borrow Rusty's Angel LED at this year's NPPL Huntington Beach?). I can't say the same thing about any other electronic marker that was made around the same time as the Angel LED.
The new Angel 4, as demo'ed by the Skirmish U.S.A. techs.
With Sensi turned off, the MROF is 25
Andrew is the most qualified and the only WDP fully certified Angel tech in Arizona. WDPAngelService.com As you can see, he's using the LPR gauge to check for any blowback pressure on his A4. Don't worry, he's only joking about doing that, lol.
Gorilla Paintball Store buying up eight each of the A4s and Speeds. And now a WDP service center serving the Bakersfield and surrounding areas.
Jingle Rapiz, team Stoned Assassins coach and the Warped Sportz Super Tech demo'ing the A4.
I heard that a lof of you techs met Jingle this event and have since been calling him up for tech tips and stuff. If you want to see Jingle at more of the major NPPL events or even local events, email WDP and put in your request for Jingle Rapiz. He is already a very popular Tech here in the SoCal scene and is one of the most sociable and friendly WDP Super Techs you will have ever met. So if you want a really cool tech at the NPPL events, then send off an email to WDP and ask for Jingle!
Jingle demo'ed and serviced this Dynasty Repairman's A4 at the tech class.

Phil, the only WDP service center in South Dakota and North Dakota. One day shipping to most of the Dakota states.
Angel Girl Kathy, modeling with the Angel apparel, while Owen describes the material. "Uhm... feels good to me!"
J.R. and Fraser arrived at the hotel in separate Bentleys, but Owen opts for the WDP Chopper bike.
