tried these setting. seems that it made a difference (i never shot it directly afterwards, like 10 min after i 1st chrono'd and added the spacer, cause i dropped my bolt in the dirt, and i had to give it a good clean)

but, for the 1st time ever, i got barrel breaks. so im gona see what happens this weekend.

f i get more breaks, im taking the spacer out, and dropping my pressure.

I love how everyone thinks that the "NT" will get quieter when broken in and or smoother lmao. The NT operates by having a consistent seal with all the O-rings gliding on the entire bolt kit. After the first bag of pant your NT will always shoot the same. Yes guys Its not a DM they dont have a break in period.

umm.. you just described each and every single spool valve marker to ever be created. To put it simply you are wrong, o-rings are never an EXACT size to the surfaces they are sealing to. Manfacturing differences, batch differences. In time they get worn down to a closer match thus imparting less friction along the bolt kit. This usually causes an increase in velocity which in turn allows you to lower your pressures (yes within the 120 ish, 130ish to 150 psi range) thus giving you a softer quieter shot as the NT has no LPR and the operating pressure IS the cycling pressure.

TLDR:
you're wrong

Causing the nt to have leaking issues... I've already been through this with most all the dye techs I was under the same impression.

what causes the nt to have leaking issues??? wearing the o-rings in? If you are running into leaks from just shooting your gun in an appreciable amount of time you should try lubing the thing every now and then. Seriously. Guns are different, some can go lower in pressure than others without problems but i don't see what you mean by causing leaks.

also...as much as i love my nt, i have spoken to dye techs and they really refrain from getting technical about guns to the customers. Either because they don't know or they don't care to get into it. Remember the guy you are talking to over the phone probably had nothing to do with the design process and was just trained to repair the thing. Probably has no intimate knowledge about the inner workings of the gun. Trust some of the longtimers on this forum (not saying i am), they are a great knowledge base if you want to tinker and tune, dye and dye techs, believe it or not, do not want you to tinker. So they will not humour your technical questions.

Once had a tech tell me that modding my nt with the bwing mod would void my warranty. Tried explaining to the guy that it is completely reversible, the macro can be removed and the bored out insert and rubber tip replaced... I stopped arguing when he tried to tell me that modding those part and irreversibly damage the gun.

no. the black thing is your bolt soft face.

if you did not have a flow insert, your marker would leak (plus your black bolt face would probably blow off)

your blue bolt insert is in the marker. If you want to check, take out your bolt, disassemble it, and look inside the part that moves

you will see its in there. If you have a black one (which i heard the new updated ones are, instead of white) tehn its even wider than the blue, meaning you will get an even softer shot

but i doubt you have that, i think you just think the soft tip is the flow insert...

oh so the black piece is just like a pillow for the bolt...so where does the insert goes then?
i only have a read one now..is it ok to use that one with these settings until i get a blue insert?
and for some reason the nt doesnt leak without the insert

the insert is inside your bolt, it may not be red or blue. it could be white or black or grey
but if your gun isnt leaking its got a insert in there

I dont understand how ppl do that. They are rich enough to own the marker, but not mature enough/smart enough to have one

Its just rediculous...

i agree, read the manual. It tells you everything you need to know
