dye nt has kick?
hey i need some help. my nt has a lot of kick, what should i do to make it go away?

yeah i was thinking maybe i still needed to break it in. its just that so many ppl are saying that there gun has no kick at all right out of the box.

blue insert, no spacers. No kick the slightest bit of vibration though. i actually thought the gun was at a low velocity when i dry fired it. keep in mind this is 5 cases in.

yeah i understand every gun will have some kind of kick but the nt shouldnt have as much kick as mine does. everyone says that theres has almost none. so im just trying to figure out why mine has so much

If you put too much lube on the firing assembly, then the parts will not slide as easily, and you have to increase the pressure to compensate. This leads to an increase in kick, and sound level. The best example I can think of would be the Geo. If you lube that "normally" the gun won't even function properly. It could barely chrono to 250 FPS, and the HPR had to be increased dramatically.

Dye NT's NATURALLY kick WAYYYYY more than DM's so if you went from a DM to the NT it would feel like a lot of kick

food for thought the lighter the gun is the more kick your gonna get when you shoot it, like itsnate said comming from dm to nt is a big difference in weight imo
