PT Upgrade Guide

I have seen a few posts here asking about upgrades for the PT’s so I thought I would compile some upgrades that you could put on them.

The first thing you will want to probably put on your PT would be a new barrel, unfortunately you cant upgrade to a better barrel with the Enforcer, or Professional, but a upgrade barrel is available for the Xtreme found here:
http://www.barrelsofamerica.com/

Some people don’t like the feel of a hand gun, and would like to use it more then a backup type thing, you can buy a Lapco Universal T-stock so you can shoulder it. Shouldering it helps steady the gun, and can help you. You can buy it from:
http://www.countypaintball.com/prod...n.asp?item=1666 Or check it out: http://www.lapcopaintball.com./

Sighting the PT’s takes a little while to get use to, if your actually aiming… a little cool device is a little laser pointer on the trigger frame... It wont help you very much outdoors, but if you play indoor, and you are allowed to use it…it could help you out with aiming a little.... found somewhere at:
http://www.paintball-online.com/

One thing I never liked on the enforcer was how hard the grip frame felt. Luckily on the Enforcer (and Professional) you can use any standard .45 frame grips. Personally I like the feel of the Dye Sticky Grips, they are larger and more comfortable then the original panel’s that came with it. There are lots of grips out on the market, check them out, I’m pretty sure anyone of the wrap around grips will make it more comfortable. You can find a pretty large selection of grips at: http://www.countypaintball.com/ or check out your nearest pro-shop.
**Note: There are also 32* Gel Rubber Grips out now, that will go pretty nicely with your 32* gun **

To polish your internals, use 800+ grit sand paper, and sand your bolt and striker, DO NOT use too coarse sand paper. You want a find gritted sand paper so that you wont take off a lot of material. All you have to do is sand the parts until they get shiny. Although there is a lot a lot of debate going around right now whether or not this actually helps your gun I guess it couldn’t hurt. One part of the debate says:By polishing your internals you are reducing the friction between parts, and there-fore reduce wear and are able to cycle faster. The other people say that they are letting it wear faster, and it doesn’t actually touch the other parts of the body… whatever you want to believe I guess… I haven’t noticed any problems, or greatly improved performance with polishing the internals… its up to you… ( Note: You only have to do the polishing to the bolt and striker )

There is a constant air adaptor available for the PT Professional, that will work on the Enforcer, so you don’t have to carry tons of those 12 grams around if you are planning on using the gun more as an primary gun, or for woods play I would defiantly look into it… You can find it at: http://www.paintball-online.com/

Unlike what some believe, the PT 200 round attachment for the PT Pro. does not work on the Enforcer... But if you have the Pro. You can find it at:
http://www.paintball-online.com/

If there is anything I left out or you think I’m wrong, please let me know….

Later,

Sorisko, I'd like to get a PT Pro, or Extreme, but I just wanted to know if it was possible to change the grip-frame at all; or would I have to have that custom done? Like.. change it to a .45 frame or something? Thanks in advance.

I do know you can drill and tap the body on an Enforcer to use Spyder frames.

The back screw lines all of the internals (sear, striker, etc) perfectly, but the front hole is out a little too far. By drilling and tapping the body where the new grip hole is, you can utilize any Spyder frame.

I didn't drill/tap the body, but I did attach a eLCD frame to my Enforcer using the back hole. (It was strange shooting an electro-pistol!)

I haven't tried it on the Xtreme yet.
