Updated ASA
How can you tell if you have the updated ASA?
Might be nice if someone from Dye could post a picture of the original and the updated one. And explain what changed.

very limited number of NT's had the messed up asa I believe, 150 or so I heard
but Im pretty sure the only difference is the pin length, so its not going to be easy to tell just by looking at pictures.

thats not true. i originally thought that too and asked them if they could just send me a new shorter pin or just tell me how to shorten it. but they told me to send it in as they need to re-machined the asa all together.

yeah, sucked especially for me since i live on east coast. It takes five days just to ship it to dye, so not accounting for the time they machine it, 10 days is already part of the wait.

here is a response I just got from one of the dye reps
If you have the updated ASA there will be a small notch cut into the body of the airport (directly below the two air holes in the airport).
I looked at my ASA and could not find the notch. Does anyone have an updated version they can snap a picture of to show the rest of us what to look for?
