any cocker threaded barrel will work with your marker

i think what you meen by loose is the side to side play of the trigger.

to fix this you can buy a cp trigger.. but the trigger should work fine anyways.

i woudl get a barrel kit// they come with a couple different bore sizes to mach with your paint..

example.. paint with a bore of .689 will shoot good with a .689 barrel..

so a kit comes with a couple different bores so you dont need a bunch of barrels..

but its not necessary.. i use the stock barrel because its fine for me..

i do like the death stix though

The difference is the shape of the trigger. Different people like the feel of different triggers. Personally I like the sling but it is all what feels best to you.

I use the CP "Rake" trigger on all of my G3s, and love them.

As far as upgrading the barrel, I honeslty don't think that the DEATHSTIX barrel will perform any better than the stock 2 piece barrel that comes on the G3 SE. I have three G3 SE's and have borrowed various barrels to put on them, and none of the "upgrade" barrels performed any better than the 2 piece that came on the G3 SE.

I have a G3 SE with a Deathstix kit. If you match the paint corectly, it can be more acurate than the stock barrel. I tested them both.
Also it is lighter and takes some weight from the front of the gun. For me this helps because it makes the marker more maneuverable.

The only thing i didn't like is that in the ported area i noticed little bits of carbon fiber exfoliating. I don't know if this will be a problem in the future. Still, I don't use a swab with it, just squeegees.

Hope this helps.

the sling trigger is very similar to the stock trigger. the rake trigger curves backwards a little. i hear the deathstix barrel kit is great. look in to freak kits or other insert kits.

I use the MacDev Shift kit and it works great. Can get one for about $100 on here.

if i were you i would try for a different barrel kit. The reason being the bore of the barrel that is the size you choose is only about 3 inchs long...which means it will be bouncing around through the rest of the barrel or be to tight in the rest of the barrel. I have the warped sports luck 15's which are the same bore through out the barrel an i swear by them. If anything you might look for a two piece barrel kit like a cp or freak that will offer you more room for you ball to be in the correct bore to offer better accuracy.

The Freak inserts are shorter than my MacDev kit. Freak kits are good kits too.

As of now I'm running a SP freak kit. Its a really decent kit with pretty much everything you need. For around the same price as all the other kits. You can find the bore kit and back and front of your liking. Also deadly wind fibre barrels use the freak insert kit and if your a little more into the pump play. There was a company that bored out the phantom barrel to accept the freak inserts. Also for the wide ranges in size of paint now and days they give you several (around 7) bore inserts for any size paint. I just picked up a reball insert that fits perfectly with the style of reballs i'm using.
