Field one is as nice as anything I've seen with Stadium quality natural turf, a new set of 09 Race bunkers, Permanent raised pits with a floor. Pits will be between the 2 fields just like PSP with plenty of room for spectators oppostite side of field. Plus this should draw several teams from IL and MO into the series. This event will be 1st class all the way.
wow...really excited for next season! Can't wait.

Yea Collinsville is correct but if you can get to the Arch in under 10 minutes, and you can, I call it St. Louis

D-2

We would love to but if we can't get at least 5 teams it would not be worth trying. In this area the format allows D-3 to have 2 D-2 players on thier roster wich would pretty much deplete the D-2 players in the area with 10+ D-3 teams.

Well mark CHF down as one team for D2. We're going to compete in the highest level of both the MSXL and SEPS and I think it would be awesome to have D2 Xball.

Although I would love for there to be more tournaments that have higher classifications, it is not financially do-able. They would loose teams. There are far more teams at the lower levels than there are at the higher divisional levels. The system works the way it is or they would change it. Look for possible changes with this sort of thing, but not until next year.

if 5 teams would commit to the series to Tapper...I bet he would do it...I mean d2 in CFOA has like 4-6 teams an event...

but that would also be taking up field times for events as well. when you have 3 divisions running on 2 fields then that's gunna be kinda hard.. plus you're most likely going to lose money for the league due to a low number of teams in the D2 division, or not being able to offer up the great prizes that are in the other divisions. As much as i'd love to see a D2 i don't think that this year would be a good year for it

Or like was said earlier, make it open like in the SEPS. It's not like there are ton of D1/ semi-pro guys who would come in and just wreck everyone. With open you could get all the D2 guys in without a problem and still have a decent turnout.

The great debate!

All of these scenarios have been looked at and I don't want to exclude anyone.

We do not want to see a bunch of people promoted to D-2 prematurely in the APPA system. That would potentially kill the series, these mistakes have been made in the past by others far smarter than me, so I believe them and thier experience.

How many D-2 XBall players does CHF have on it's roster? just a suggestion but you could put a couple on roster as players and the others as staff along with the D-3 players to fill the roster and rotate your D-2's event to event.

We can handle 32 teams in prelims with 2 fields in 1 day of prelims. Honestly I project and would prefer averaging 24 teams.

There was talk about allowing either 1 D-1 or 2 D-2 players per D-3 XBall roster at the promoters meeting. Teams get to choose if it's approved.

It will not be an open class, we are sticking with the PSP/APPA guidlines and rules. We are trying to get teams to World Cup with a shot at winning and I believe we have proved we can do just that. Flip Syde and Livewire for instance.

What we don't want is to promote a team to Cup that is not a legal divisional roster and has to make whosale changes just to compete. I'm sure you can figure out a way to play within the guidelines available. Roster your players you will be surprised when you go to XBall, the ranking starts over. PM me if you have specific player classification issues you need me to address.

CHF has 6 guys who would play who are D2. 4 core guys and 2 kinda rotators. I completely understand about keeping MSXL to PSP standards. If I was in your position I would not change anything for 1 team. I was just wanting to see how many other teams had similar situations.

Solid and Dirt-Life has a solid D-2 SQUAD. I bet Unlimited would be in as well. Start a new thread if you get enough to commit I'll try it.

DirtLife is already spread pretty thin. we will most likely have a team in the D3 division, but it would be dificult for us to commit to this. I am not saying we wouldn't play, but we couldn't commit right now.

They are awesome but it does not mean all the players are automatically bumped to D-1. They possibly could have
enough D-2 players to field a team.

All but one player from the D2 squad is now ranked D1.

All the 5man team is now ranked D3.

Enjoying the off-season currently. Playing the summer series would be doubtful at best in my eyes, however that is not my decision.
