Im thinking of purchasing a new pistol to play primary with. I have the options on either the overlord or the sa-17. I know the tpx and the T8 are the top of the line but dont have the money to afford those as of yet. I like how the overlord feels and still get access to extra mags if i need. but the BT has a decent feel to it as well, bonus being i dont have to carry extra mags just 10rd tubes to refill. Any opinions on the matter? Real issue is how easy is it to get replacement parts for the overlord now that ariakon is out of business.

Depending on the part, it can be very hard to find. I would recommend something other than an Ariakon

Unless you can get multiple overlords I would agree. There are enough cheap ariakons you can collect to get a lifetime supply of parts now but you do have to make sure you get them.

I had a overlord rx and never had a problem with it for over 2 years. used it as my primary. Great gun even though it uses a spyder system of firing, didnt want to sell mine but had to get an HPA tank for the new Etek3
