Thumbs down My A1 dosn't fire all the way!

I just got it in the mail after buying from someone on the nation, and it sounds like an Angel trying to fire on a empty n2 tank, but air is full. My gun is an A1 with all fly internals, and a efficiency bolt. I fooled around with dwell and HPR but i can't seem to get it to shoot. There is a VERY tiny leak comming from front part where valve stem is, aroound part that says mango. It fully cycles when i fire the gun and screw the tank off, so it only fires when i degass it. Help me shoot ropes ppl!

Hold on I'm a little confused, it fires when you take the tank off?? I'm going to let someone else cover this I'm not entirely sure I know what you're saying, sorry.

i tried adjusting the mini reg, and i wen just about all the way in and out while firing the gun, and it still didn't work. It only completely cycles when the gun is degassing and i fire.

Ok, I'm assuming you can't hear air rushing out of somewhere on the gun otherwise I'd think you would have mentioned that. Some things to check would be your LPR or Exhaust pressures, but with you not getting anything at all I'm not really convinced that is your problem or entirely the problem. Also check your cupseal if its separated then that could be a contributing factor. I almost wonder if stuff isn't gunked up and the gun needs to be taken apart and cleaned, but check the other stuff first.

i do here gas rush out when i degass, but thats par for the course. The small leak near the mango makes me suspect the cup seal, but i can just re align that right?

If the cup seal is separated, rotates freely on the stem, then it could be causing your problem or atleast contributing significantly. I'm not positive but I think someone on here said you can repair it somehow, do a search in the forum on it.

too much pressure coming out of the tank and causin an excessive valve pressure, with a standard lpr pressure perhaps? is your tank lp output or hp output? if it cycles when he takes the tank off that might be because there is nothing to back up the pressure behind the valve. whos with me?

didn't even think about that, but yeah thats possible, if he had a really really high output, I mean the A1 is designed to be able to take a HP tank...

And that idea goes right out the door lol.

Never done it personally, but here is info from someone who knows a ton more than me, so it must be right.

so yeah i can twist that white part but barely, and there is a very small leak on the front right part of the trigger frame, right where it would be internally. I guess i need a new mango cup seal? or what?

Well if the leak is from where the grip frame meets the body then what you want to do is take off the forgrip and take out the small o-ring/gasket that's in the forgrip and coat the whole thing in lube then put it back in and that will seal the leak if it's in the forgrip.

At the moment i think the best bet for you would be to compltely break down the marker clean and relube everything and see how much that helps.
