I'd trade him.

Should be able to get a new washer and dryer for him. Locker room needs new ones.

He's good right now. He's just not amazing, yet. I'll go on the record and say he'll be a first round draft pick when he declares. He's got the tools.

Anyway that Ponder comes out in the Draft or is he a senior, Wonka?

Since the Titans are going to be picking in the top three, I'm checking out the options.

I'd go with:

1. Jake Locker - His numbers are really similar to Jay Cutler's and Matt Ryan's in college and I think he could make an impact early on. He's the guy that I'd most want.
2. Jimmy Clausen - Has all the tools to be a star, my only concern is that Brady Quinn also looked great at Notre Dame and I thought Quinn would be a great NFL QB, which makes me wonder if there's something more than meets the eye with Clausen.
3. Tony Pike - Looks great at Cincy, but the injury concerns are there but I love his size and arm.
4. Christian Ponder - Again, another guy with all the tools, but I just like the above three a little more.

If the Titans decide to go defense with a guy like Suh this year, I wouldn't mind trying to snag Lefevour in the third, but he strikes me of something of a project. Give him a chance and if it looks like he's going to be a longterm project, try and get Mallett in the following year.

He's only a Junior. I 'm thinking he'll still be wearing garnet and gold in 2010.

its hard to say what kind of project he will be. he hasnt played under center before. maybe a little in high school, but he was primarily a running back in high school. he has the arm strength to make the throws though. i cant wait to see how his draft goes.

Yeah, that's kind of what concerns me with him. And the fact that he seems to rely on his feet to make a lot of plays, at times. But still, he's a good project if Tennessee decides to focus on improving the defense.

I'm pretty enamored with Jake Locker, though. Reminds me a lot of Matt Ryan.

one thing about that though, if he goes in the draft, he wont have two converted Tight Ends that are 20-30lbs under weight blocking for him. he's certainly a gamer though, only player in history to pass for 10,000+ and rush for over 2,500. and only player besides vince young to pass for 3,000 and rush for 1,000 in a year. and he matched Tebows 20/20, kind of, he was one rushing short but he had a recieving!

Easily the best athletic specimen at wide out and the main reason I lul at people that think Floyd, Bryant and Green are much better prospects. Anyone that thinks an NFL franchise is going to pass up on a 6'4 220 lb wide out that runs a 4.4 and can leap 42 inches for another wide receivers based on college numbers doesn't understand how the NFL works these days. Green and Floyd are more polished at this point than Jones, but they don't have nearly the same ceiling.

You wouldn't go with anyone in the secondary? Berry/Mays?

I definitely, definitely wouldn't go with Mays. And I wouldn't take a safety with a top three pick, for that matter. That being said, the main reason for the Titans' struggles in the secondary are one, the fact that almost the entire secondary is depleted by injuries and two rookie CB's are starting and two, the complete lack of a pass rush. The secondary has been the worst in the league this season but it was one of the best in the league last year and has a ton of potential. But when most of the starters are out with injuries, not a lot can be done.

QB is the primary need for the Titans. Period.
