Cut blocks suck, its what took UA ILB Don'ta Hightower out with a season ending ACL injury, but its part of the game.

Haha, look at my location. I'll see SEC games every week if I want to or not I know that for the most part the SEC has some solid defenses, but all of college football, not just a couple of the biggest conferences.

And no, I don't count the "Florida Vs. Charleston Southern" type games where the top team in the nation gets to pick on a flag football team for a few hours.

This is getting totally out of hand; you wouldn't believe how many people today have told me that there should have been a penalty for Cody taking his helmet. I mean, Jesus Christ. The thought of a rekick never even entered my mind and I wouldn't even consider myself an expert on the rules.

Easily confused rule since it happened while the ball was still live.

Yeah, but it was a dead-ball foul. Those are always marked on the next play. Since time expired, there was no next play. They don't ever result in a "re-do."

Why re-kick the ball? Taking his helmet off had no impact on the outcome of the play whatsoever. These officials need to take a step back and remember that this is still just a game, and that "fun" isn't a dirty word.

Officials made the right call. The rule is designed just fine.

They didn't re-kick it, so I'm assuming either there is no rule saying they should have received another kick, or the refs just didn't catch it in time.

Either way, the celebration penalties need to stop, and a few of the SEC refs need to go back to Zebra School.

Maybe if you're a woman or you listen to Gary Danielson, but a head coach should have a better knowledge of the rules than that.

While I do agree that it wouldn't be in the spirit of the game to throw a flag there, there was no way - by rule - that Cody taking his helmet off could have given Tennessee another chance to win the game.

With the way Alabama's line was blowing up Tennessee's blockers, it wouldn't surprise me if, had there been a rekick, it was blocked again. Look how many players got through UT's line at the end of that game; if Cody had missed it, Julio Jones would have blocked it.

I hate that guy so much. He's terribly overrated, and his name makes me want to punch myself in the tit every time I hear it.

Tate Forcier has been really impressive this year and he's a true freshman. If I was a Michigan fan, I'd be really excited about him.

Dude, he's a true freshman and Penn State is a much better team. Is he supposed to win every single game by double digits, or something? He has a ton of potential and I'm sure he'll beat Penn State before he leaves Ann Arbor. The kid's good and he's definitely exceeded expectations but he's not good enough to carry the team on his back. And he shouldn't have to.

tate cant do it all by himself. last time molk was injureed the o-line play suffered severly. and when he got hurt on there second drive saturday, the o-line went to crap. tate will become a great michigan qb by the time he leaves, unless devin gardner comes in and passes him.
