Need a little help

I just bought a DP E1 for cheap, but it was non-working condition. I'm in need of a new solenoid. I know that they sell them for $35 at the DP website. But I'd like to know if anyone here has an extra one in their parts kits that they could sell me? Can anyone help?

You may not need an entirely new solenoid, depending on what's actually wrong with it. It might just need basic maintenance (eg, relubing and/or piston oring replacement).

What symptoms are you getting when you try to fire? If you hear the solenoid clicking, that's likely a good sign that you may not need to buy a new one.

This is what's wrong with the marker. With a fresh battery, marker turns on. Board seems to function as it should and the eyes are working. Once the air is running through, I get nothing. It doesn't seem to cycle at all. Can't hear the solenoid clicking at all. I've never taken apart the solenoid before, I guess it's worth a shot. I'll lube it up and see if that works. If not then just order a new one.

Did you try turning off the eyes and dry firing it? Also is the trigger actually hitting the microswitch?

Tried both ways, didn't work. I had the grips unscrewed and was seeing it move. Nothing....

Didnt have time yesterday to take apart the solenoid and relube it. I'll try it tonight and see what happens.

With no air in the marker, the eyes off, and with the board turned on. When you pull the trigger do you hear the solenoid click then? If not, adjust the trigger stops, both forward and backwards. Also check to make sure the wires for the solenoid are not pinched. If it does click, bottom out the regulator, air the marker up, and slowly turn it until it starts shooting. If it still doesnt shoot, then try relubing/replacing orings.

^ ^ yes try resetting the reg to 0psi and slowly turning it up.

Bolt and noid might need some good grease and not the junk DP uses.
