LV1 .50 Cailber Conversion Kit by Paintball Innovations

Hi Guys,

My pops has been working on .50 caliber conversations and I didn't know if anyone had any interest in this at all:

We have had a lot of players in our local market looking for higher end .50 caliber gear so they could still have the high end performance but could play with their kids & families without the sting of the traditional paintball.

Post up your thoughts here! I would love to hear any feedback you have!

Thank you,

Danny

Whoo.....nice conversion. I like it.

You can hose down those newbies with an LV1 instead of a eNMEy.

What would the price be?

I might be interested because I am in San Diego a lot for work and there is an indoor field in San Diego that is .50 only and if they allowed self equipped players I would be interested so that I could finally play at there field! Nobody else is open during the weeknights like they are.

That is the completed prototype, so final price is not set yet. It sounds like it will end up right around $80 but could end up being slightly more or less depending on final cost to produce.

That's reasonable price point to beable to play with own equipment at .50 only fields.. You can put me down for one.

Do you need a special hopper? And I'm assuming barrel too?

No barrel change is needed using the PBI BBCS (Bolt & Barrel Combination System). The system uses the .68 Caliber barrel as a guide to support the forward end of the BBCS.

It is literally a matter of taking out you .68 caliber bolt and replacing it with the PBI BBCS.

With the .50 caliber, there really are not a lot of off the shelf electronic hoppers, but since the vision system is fully functional, a standard .68 caliber gravity feed hopper will work fine. KEE has a multi caliber hopper and Tippmann also offers a .50 caliber hopper that fits into your standard .68 caliber feed neck, the key is to make sure the loader is bottomed out in the feedneck with any of the hoppers.

The 1st batch should be available mid January for Etek, Etek5, Ego & LV1 with more coming soon.

while shooting, it does have a different sound signature with the BBCS, But I will try and get some decibel reading soon. I believe that they are pretty similar thou.

currently testing it in the Sniper & I believe that it is the same bolt. We will post up a video on our website with more details when ready to release.

We will also have kits available for the 2k cockers shortly, But they will be custom made when ordered- takes about 7 days from the time of order to ship.

Just finished up testing on the Axe/Mini kits & waiting on parts for the Eclipse Kits.
check out the link on our website for info on the axe/mini kit. They are available now.
