Question Dye NT10 deep cleaning.

Just got an NT10 from a friend. He says that he's had 100+ cases through the gun, and that it isn't shooting right, and that it needs to be cleaned up inside the body.

I want to run a small amount of water through the body to help break up the paint while I run a squeegee through it at the same time.

My question is, I want to know what these screws are for.

They seemed to be threadlocked in, and I can't get them out (seeing that they're so hard to get out, I don't really want to take them out now).

Would they and whatever they are holding be safe with a little water ran through them?

Don't touch those screws. I made that mistake once, I will never make that mistake again.

Yes it will be fine to run water through it as it is. I always used qtips and rubbing alcohol to clean my markers.

running water through it is asking for trouble. You just dont know where it goes and I dont think you want water running through your solenoid.

Just use alcohol like blu said plus it doesnt look all the dirty anyway.

Haha thanks man. Put water through it earlier and put it back together and gassed it up and everything worked as should, and better than before! I got some of the hard to reach places with a qtip though, thanks!

Learn to read. It clearly says is it safe to run water through as it is now.

Well now there are two people to say that it's safe. Marker works better than before I cleaned it.
