Is there any chance Dye will bring back the NT. I've never held or shot one, but hear lots of great things about these markers.

Any thoughts.....

The M2 comes close to what the NT was like. Light, small, ergonomic as hell.

I highly doubt they have been doing research on the NT since it's gone. But, you never know!

I doubt it. Ergonomically, heads above other guns except maybe the new shocker for weight. I have 2 as back-ups.

Since "NT" is just a marketing name I'd wager it's dead. The technology was ok though... dye just didn't seem to know what to do with it.

The M2 seems to be the NT v2.0 in terms of dyes new gun that will replace the matrix. From what it sounded like, the NT was suppose to take the place of the matrix in dyes lineup, however gun issues prevented that so the kept the DM series. Now the M2 seems to be solid, no more DM.

^ Not sure I follow? The M2 is the second gen of the same engine. To me, the branding suggests an incremental step and signifies a move away from annual releases. It is still, however, a Dye Matrix (DM) by any definition.

The NT bolt technology was just poorly executed IMO. It doesn't change the fact that I still love them.

Uh yeah the m2 is nothing like an NT, it's just an oled DM...
