Problem shooting at 250 fps

Hey guys, I'm new to owning an NT. I just got back into the sport and in the past I've owned guns like pm6's and pm7's. Anyway, I just took my gun to the local indoor field in Minneapolis and their FPS limit is 250. My gun shoots just fine at 280-90 by just adjusting the hyper 3. However, when I start reducing the PSI to get down to the field limit the bolt stops fully cycling.

Now I'm pretty sure at stock settings these guns aren't meant to operate at these speeds, or the psi related to that. Does anyone have any suggestions that I could try? Dwell, bumpers, bolt tips?

well, i dont see a problem operating at lower speeds. but i dont shoot at 250 either. some others may know.
but i would just keep it at the previous op psi you had it on. and tinker with it by adding spacers. (bumpers your calling it. but it doesnt bump on the bolt at all their volume spacers) then fine tune it with the reg.
i would also make sure you tech your hyper reg. it could have some slight issues when oper. that lower psi. if it hasnt been techd in a while. since you just got it.
i would also suggest you are properly greasing the drive train as well.
i had bolt issues and was using 33 but then went back to dye grease. but it could have been me not properly greasing with 33. they both are very close to the feel. but the dye seemed a tad more thicker in consistancy.
i would not change the bolt tips unless it was just the last thing to do.

Here's the cliff notes: Big velocity changes are done with spacers/ bolt tips.

Try the yellow spacer with blue bolt tip.

It appears my gun didn't come with a spacer body. Anyone happen to have one lying around. Looks like they are almost impossible to find.

Easier said than done. They don't have them listed on their site. I sent them an e-mail.

You're definitely right. I was at work and don't get off until 8:30pm. Thought maybe I could get a response quicker than having to call the next day.
