and they are already $1500 so a IM edition means $2000 for the same gun with minor adjustments

Dm9 vs. Nt
Dm9 - one of the most reliable dm's dye has seen in years...
Nt- one of the best guns we will see for years to come...
Both are amazing guns, if you have the money, would go with the dye nt!!!

i agree, but just look at the luxe, everyone bums that and its just a shocker in a fancy shell. SP are clever, or luxe owners are stupid. maybe both.
Id say go with the nt if you have the money but the dm9 is sweeeet too.

After shooting an NT (chopping about 10 balls out of every hopper) and owning a DM9 for a little while along with 2 DM7's (and you see my current ride below); if it were /MY/ money, I would go with a DM7, put that cash into a Paypal money market account, let it work for you until the NT issues are all ironed out, then jump on that.
DM7 will be a hair heavier and longer than the DM9, but shoot very similarly and save you a few hundred.

Lol, I love the shocker=luxe comments! Ignorance is comical.

I don't remember saying they weren't similar, I just know a shocker is not a luxe. And yes, I know the differences as I own both. Your rolling eyes and ill witted response send a signal of your intellectual integrity... But anyway, thanks for the 'comedy', if you get my drift.
But this is neither the time or place to start talking about this, so be a gem and stay on topic.

I really like my NT its smooth and ball on ball, my brother has an IM9 and it shoots really nice but I just like the way my NT is shooting better. So I'm going to have to say get the NT.

An NT with the upgraded ASA and heavier spring shoots 10x better than ones that came with the older parts. If you have the newer parts, the gun shoots ****ING AMAZING.

I'll second that. IMO DM7 = best DM made and they can be had dirt cheap. Over a $1000 cheaper than the NT. That will buy a lot of paint and pay for a lot of touraments. Unless you have copious amounts of income it's best to buy a good solid gun because the "latest greatest" is only marginally better than what can be had for 350 or 400 bucks.

I will second that. I absolutely love mine. I could never enjoy firing DM's or the Luxe - it feels like the balls are not really getting shot, and I cannot get into a good rhythm (although for ramping, that is somewhat moot). I like the feel and balance of the NT most of all, and it is quite similar to firing my SL's.
If you are in any way worried about the money or using insurance money, it would not make economic sense to pick up the NT right now. This is my opinion, but if you absolutely have to get a spoolie right now, go for either a realibly well maintained DM9 with ups, a Clone, or hold onto what you have now. You can then get a used NT in a few months or a new one, with some money saved. Use the extra money to play. You will play better with an older gun and practice than a new gun and no practice. Everyone here would agree on that. Now, if you are in a situation where you are asking about which you should get in the absence of monetary restrictions, then I would go for the NT.
