Nope, I don't think you ever did. Doesn't make sense in a too good or too bad way? I've got a variant of this valve train that is open bolt as well, it works similarly to an NT but with the chamber feed not the same as the bolt reset air. Some interesting shutoff points in it to allow the bolt to retract without stopping halfway because it acts like an air spring but without leaving the chamber open to atmosphere killing the efficiency that the self retracting bolt can offer.
He's been suspiciously quiet for a few months, right after he released teasers of some of his projects.

Well, I am not going to spill Damon's beans. But he should be a bit more availible soon. If not, he is making money, so...
Let me find my old flashdrive and shoot you a pic, I was getting 285-290fps at 135psi, with a total of 1ci chamber. We could use it with your back and simplify your internals there. Merge the two in a way.

That's about the same energy levels both varieties I've got working right now are using. The power tube version is getting those velocities with 105 psi at a 1.29 ci dump chamber, and the one without the power tube is getting there with 95 psi in a roughly 1.5 ci chamber. Slightly better numbers with the power tube variation, but I haven't done any fine tuning of the other one either.

That last one looks like it'll benefit from some 5-axis milling, to radius those ports. I just sold a gun so I'm buying a damn ion board tonight.

Yeah, it's a bit rough off of a 3-axis. And a crappy 3-axis at that. Damn mini mills. I need to tear the thing apart and give it a solid once over. Maybe come up with some way to reduce some of the backlash without having to replace the screws. I may try filling the column with hydraulic cement to add some much needed mass to it too.
Despite the roughness, it gets promising initial results. I think the flow through that area is just so unrestricted that the edges don't have too detrimental an effect.

I'm hopefully getting a lucky ace board with a mac noid, waiting for a response.

A thought in general - a mac 33 is rated for 200 psi, an Epiphany runs quite a bit higher than that normally. Not sure what it will run at with this, but with a normal bolt it's higher.

Y0da,
I have an epiphany with one of my bolts in it, and I run at about 220-235psi depending on barrel, with the silver insert in it. I figured it was at over 1800 shots on a 68/4500 tank. From my calcs it could be higher.

I run a mac33'd ion shooting 45+ BPS @ 260+ PSi, no issues.

I've run over 300 psi through one of mine before accidentally to no ill effect, I'm just not willing to generically recommend that people do it in an open forum.

MAC makes a variant of the 33 that does over 300psi. It uses the same noid body.

Probably just a more robust coil to handle the increased resistance to shifting.

Yes, that is my supposition as well.
