.50 Price

Does anybody know how much .50 cal paint will cost? I know people say it will cost less, but how much less?

In the FAQ it says a case of 4000 .50 cal will cost only a few more bucks than a case of 2000 .68

G.I. paint is 31.99 for 2000 for 3 star paint.... on a 4 star system ... 4 being tournament grade.

But we all know it doesn't shoot nearly as good as 68 cal paint from a performance standpoint (break-ability, range, accuracy); so we can't really use a "start system" that is based solely off of comparisons between 50 cal paint...

We need a rating system that's all inclusive; 68 cal AND 50 cal.

don't forget that if you're going by the star system, their gravity feed is better than their rotor clone. and it's only out of 4 sometimes, also out of 5 when they feel like it.

Well at least the prices aren't too bad. Still not sure if I am willing to try it.

I was able to pick up a case of 4,000 of the forumla 13 for just a little more than a case of 2,000 of .68 of same brand.

I found that the shell was thick & fill was rather lacking.

I'm trying to find some 4 star GI Milsim paint to test, but if I cant find it I'll just test with the 3 star paint

Personally, I think that companies will have to do a better job with quality before the .50 cal paint becomes truly viable. I'll personally always be a fan of the .68, but who knows, .50 might be found out to be better after some testing. And I also think the price factor could be a driving force behind the growth of the .5o cal market, especially among new players.

I'm working this summer and might buy the spyder one , why may you ask? Because when i go play with friends they don't like speedball and when i bunker a kid with 50 cal they won't cry.
