Being a former owner in the old days we charged for use of the equipement then had a fee for balls.

Rental -$20 included mask, gun , air & 100 rounds of paint additional paint $5 / 100

We made money on buying cases at $35 and selling to rentals for $100 (today's prices) Now people are buying cases for $45 that cost $20 and splitting them up instead of buying them 100 rounds per player. Gross profit on paint just went from $65- to $25.

Look at the renters $50 case 4,000 round .50cal give each player 500 thats 8 people off one case or 10 players at 400 each. Now instead of $4-$5/100 its now $5 for 400 rounds. This will cause the fields to raise prices on rentals , air , and other services to make up for loss of paint sales.
Been playing PB since late 1980s off and on.
