Ronin Inc. Tryouts
Ronin, Inc, a newly formed team out of Illinois, is looking for talent at all levels to come join us. We plan to participate in the XPL as our primary national focus, while playing the CPL at the local level. We also have potential to play the Midwest PSP event and some other local events pending scheduled dates. We are planning on playing at the D3/D4 level based on final roster, but are a national team that will require a firm commitment on attendance and the associated costs that come with. Our focus as an organization is to find ways to supplement this cost to make the season less of a financial burden. This is certainly not a free ride and will require effort for the return. Sponsors will be solidified by year’s end.
Ronin, Inc is also taking a different approach with our organizational structure. We are a true non-profit company that will carry insurance for each player that steps on the field. Our players are the backbone of the organization, and in protecting those individuals, we hope to make everyone’s lives on and off the field that much more secure. We also will run the team as the business it is. Written policies, attendance requirements, and contractual obligations are all part of the formula in which we see helping the organization mature quickly.
We are looking for all player types from front to back, having moderate to extensive tournament experience, or the potential to compete at this level. In looking for individuals that can make this financial and time commitment, we are hosting a series of tryouts every few weeks starting on October 12th and running until early 2015. Tryout locations will be announced, so please post / private message so we may forward all details. We are focused on growing each of our players and in turn growing with them. Please come join an organization that is hoping to set the standard within this sport we have all come to enjoy.
